Electronic and Dance Nights
Fuzzy Logic Presents books the electronic and dance corner of Vancouver's calendar: late-room sets, DJ bills, and nights where the lighting rig carries as much of the show as the artist on the decks. When the promoter's name is on the poster, the bill runs to electronic and dance acts.
What That Means for Coverage
Electronic shows are their own discipline for a photographer. The light moves fast and rarely sits still, the haze is constant, and the "first three songs" convention bends around a continuous set rather than tidy song breaks. The work runs to low, shifting light and a stage built around silhouette and color rather than clean spotlight.
Submitting
Photo passes are limited and arranged by email. Photographers reach out well ahead of the date, name the show and their outlet, and bring recent work. With a small pass count, a clear and specific request is what earns a spot in the pit.
