Built From the Floor Up
Yeah Man Entertainment is an independent, cross-genre, community-minded Vancouver promoter. Two years in, it books bills that put folk-pop, americana, grunge, and indie acts on the same stage, and sets up rooms so local visual artists and vendors share the night alongside the music.
The second-anniversary showcase ran in the Tabu Room at the Waldorf, a sold-out four-act night in a 153-capacity basement. The cross-genre bill filled the room and kept the vendor tables busy through two opening sets.
What That Means for Coverage
These are intimate, fast-moving shows in tight rooms. There is no portal and no press office; one person books the show and answers their own messages.
Submitting
Coverage is arranged by direct message on Instagram a week or two out. Photographers state who they shoot for and bring recent work.
