The Vancouver Arm of a Global Promoter
Live Nation BC is the local arm of the world's largest live-entertainment company and the promoter behind most arena-level tours that roll through Vancouver. It books the marquee dates at Rogers Arena and the touring productions that fill the city's largest stages.
It also operates the Commodore Ballroom, the 990-capacity sprung-floor club on Granville that Billboard once named one of the ten most influential clubs in North America. That footprint, arenas at the top and a heritage club in the middle, puts Live Nation's name across a wide slice of the calendar.
What That Means for Coverage
A Live Nation show is a touring-grade production, and accreditation reflects it. Photo passes are handled through Live Nation's credential portal rather than a personal email, and the decision usually rests with the artist's tour management rather than the local promoter. Requests should go in early, the standard first-three-songs and no-flash terms apply, and the pit notes matter: arena tours frequently shoot from the soundboard or a designated riser rather than the rail.
Submitting
Requests go through Live Nation's online photo-credential portal, generally at least three weeks before the date. Applicants need the artist, venue, and show date ready, plus their outlet and recent work. The same portal applies to Commodore Ballroom shows.
